AMPED AFRICA wishes to communicate the date change of the AMPEDFEST event previously scheduled to take place Saturday, 30th September 2017 at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg.

With coverage of the AMPED Talent Development and Competition programme garnering international interest, the decision was made on Thursday, 28th September 2017 to postpone the event to 7th December 2017 where headline acts AKA, Kwesta, Locnville, Shekhinah and this year’s AMPED TOP 10 will be joined by an international act on the AMPEDFEST stage. The venue for the event will remain at the Ticketpro Dome.

“AMPEDFEST is a one of a kind youth music festival,” Anthony Morgan, AMPED AFRICA CEO said. “The event also happens to be the final phase of the AMPED Talent Competition and Development Programme. It allows for our TOP 10 Finalists to showcase their talent and we want them to be able to have the best opportunity to do that,” Morgan reiterated.

Event organisers have revealed that audiences should prepare to be wowed at an attractive offering from the youth music festival programme, promising something to appeal to brand partners, sponsors, media and public stakeholders - with particular focus maintained on AMPEDFEST’s Under 19 market.
